When your immune system has been compromised you may need probiotics in order to get the friendly bacteria back in balance that reside in your digestive tract, and Primal Defense Probiotics offer you an excellent delivery system for acidophilus and lactobacillus bacteria.

Probiotics are a way to replace the lost natural friendly bacteria that usually reside in your digestive tract. There are over 400 strains of bacteria, some are the friendly bacteria and others are not, but they all need to be there and be in balance in order for you to process food into energy and to process waste properly.

When you have lost the balance of the good bacteria and the others, you may have digestive upset, pain, diarrhea, or other immune system problems. This can happen when you have eaten a particular food that upsets the balance, when you have been ill through a virus or other illness, and even when you have taken antibiotics for another problem, or you are continually stressed out and your digestive system has become unbalanced then you may need a bit of help to get your system back on track.

When you need help getting your bacterial levels back on track, you may look to a variety of foods and supplements. You may try consuming cultured yogurt that contains acidophilus and lactobacillus bacteria as well as other foods such as sauerkraut that can contain the bacteria and help your body produce and culture the friendly bacteria, or you can try a probiotic supplement.

Probiotic supplements come in a variety of forms including pills, powders, liquids and even in some natural whole food powders. It's important to understand that these bacteria need to be able to get into your system and flourish, this means the delivery of the probiotic is just as important as the probiotic itself. Some of the best ways to introduce friendly bacteria into your system is consume to look to a good probiotic supplement such as those from Primal Defense acidophilus probiotics. Because these probiotics are in a whole food formula they're easy for your body to process and deliver where they're needed.

While the FDA has not decided on a supplemental dose of probiotics, there's been plenty of clinical research done with probiotics. And this means that if you are having a digestive upset of one sort or another and have had your doctor examine you to rule out cancer's or other problems, consuming probiotics can help. As the body ages the metabolism slows down, and this can affect the live friendly bacteria in the digestive tract. So for older individuals that are having trouble with constipation or diarrhea, they may try a probiotic to get the balance in the digestive tract back together. And for those people who are constantly stressed out or have immune system problems that would also be a good time to consume supplemental probiotics. Here are some tips:
-get enough sleep,8 hours are the minimum
-have a fruit smoothie every morning,e.g. with tangerines, bananas, strawberries, mangoes.Add joghurt or actimel or/ and milk and blend everything. This way you already have your '5 a day' eaten!
-as antibiotics also destroy the good bacteria in your body, especially the flora in your intestinal tract, which plays a big role in the immune defence, u can take drops calles Symbioflor, they are actually those good bacteria that were killed off and will built up the flora again
-spend at least 30 mins a day in fresh air.
-Echinacea strenghtens your immune system as well so you might want to take it on a regular base for a week or so.
