Joe's farm has chickens and horses. In the barn, there are 14 animals with a total of 36 legs. How many horses are in the barn?

4 horses. 14 chickens would have 28 legs, with 8 legs more divide 8 by 2 (horse has 2 legs more than a chicken) to get number of horses. Answered by Mac 1 month ago
