I think everyone over the age of 70 should get automatic entitlement to the medical card. I think at this age you should not have to worry about matters like this, just enjoy your golden years. See the attached video for other peoples opinion. Answered by quest 1 month ago

95% of those aged 70 or over – about 330,000 out of 350,000 – will keep their cards. I think this is fair, usually 5% of the population fall into the super rich category. They can afford it. Hopefully they don't make it difficult for older people when carrying out the means test and filling out big forms to prove their entitlement. Answered by ledlo 1 month ago
