The Irish Government don't have a clue how to get us out of this recession. Raising taxes and pushing up the cost of living is not the right thing to do in a recession. Instead they should lower the VAT rate to encourage spending, remove VAT from certain services to stimulate employment, remove vehicle registration tax to kick start the motor industry.
