Google Chrome is a web browser developed by Google. It was first released as a beta version on 2 September 2008 and the public stable release was on 11 December 2008. Google Chrome aims to improve security, speed, and stability. Chrome periodically downloads updates of two blacklists (one for phishing and one for malware), and warns users when they attempt to visit a harmful site.
